Mission Statement

Our credit union is a financial cooperative owned and controlled by the members.  It shall be the mission of our credit union to provide the membership with the best possible service while doing so in a professional and courteous manner.  Our credit union exists for the financial benefit of our members and encourages regular savings.  Our credit union offers services at fair and favorable rates and terms yet seek to maintain the credit union's long-term financial stability and safeguard the assets of the members.

The Credit Union was Federally Chartered #14630 in 1961 by the National Credit Union Administration.

The structure of the credit union is as follows:

  • The Credit Union exists for each and every member.
  • Seven Directors make up the Board which is elected for three years in staggered  terms by the membership during the membership meeting held each year.  The Board of Directors appoints a Supervisory Committee and hires a manager to oversee the credit union operations.  The manager hires an appropriate staff to run the daily operations and together the directors and manager set strategic goals to provide the membership with the best possible mix of financial services.
